This page describes exactly what works today. Everytry is early, and this page stays honest about what's real versus what isn't yet. There are two ways to add to your record right now: forwarding email, and typing an entry in yourself. Anything beyond those two — automatic capture, inbox syncing — isn't built, and this page will say so plainly until it is.
Two honest ways in: forward a job-related email and it becomes part of your record, or add an entry yourself by hand. Either way, it's yours, timestamped, and yours to export.
Create your account with an email and password. You'll need to confirm your email once — check your inbox for a link.
Forward an email. Your home screen shows a unique forwarding address that belongs only to you:
Whenever you apply somewhere, or get a reply — a confirmation, a rejection, an interview invite — forward that email (or BCC it when you apply) to your address. Works with any email provider: Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, a school email, anything that can forward mail.
Or enter it yourself. You don't have to have an email for everything. You can type an entry directly into your record — a walk-in application, a phone interview, an in-person job fair, anything that didn't come with a confirmation email. It goes into the same record, timestamped the same way.
For effort that someone can vouch for, you can request a one-click confirmation. A supervisor or coordinator gets a single email with a link — no account, no signup on their end — and their confirmation attaches to that entry as a stronger tier of evidence than a self-report. It's marked distinctly in your record.
If your effort needs to add up to something — a monthly hours target, for example — Everytry tallies it for you. Log paid work, community service, job-readiness training, or income earned, and see your running total against your threshold, updated as you go. This feature is labeled Beta — it's new, and worth double-checking against your own records.
Log back in anytime to see what's been captured. For forwarded emails, give it a few minutes — it's not always instant. Entries you add by hand appear immediately.
An "Export PDF" button on your home screen generates a timestamped PDF of your whole record. Each entry lists the employer, date, and status — marked "email evidence attached" wherever a forwarded email backs it up — plus a cryptographic statement confirming the record hasn't been altered since it was recorded. Built for benefits filings, bankruptcy cases, or court review.
Everytry doesn't connect to your inbox, and nothing watches any other site for you automatically. Adding to your record is always something you do on purpose — by forwarding an email or entering it yourself — never something that happens in the background. This page will be updated the moment that changes.
Only the emails you choose to forward are ever seen by Everytry. Your inbox itself is never accessed, connected to, or read. The forwarded email is stored securely and attached to your record as evidence — because an email that actually came from an employer is stronger proof than something typed in by hand.
